8. HOW LONG WILL METTA STORE THE DATA?

We will only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of complying with any legal or contractual obligations, or requests from competent authorities.

 

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purpose for processing your personal data and whether we can achieve such purposes through other means, and applicable legal requirements.

 

If you are a METTA lead, the information regarding your interactions with us will be stored for a period of 5 (five) years. Also, if you request the deletion of your data and/or your account, in this case METTA may keep the data for up to 72 (seventy-two) hours after your deletion request.

 

9. INFORMATION SECURITY

In order to ensure your privacy and the protection of your personal data, METTA strives to protect the privacy of your account and other personal data about you that we hold in our records, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized account entry or use, failure of third-party hardware or software, and other factors can compromise the security of your personal data at any time, so please help us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
